ZIMMERMANN X GOOD EARTH COTTON
2024
Good Earth Cotton®, a conscious fibre program, focuses on modern regenerative farming practices to minimise the environmental footprint of cotton and maximise soil health and environmental outcomes. The farming techniques and practices employed to grow this cotton enhance soil health and its ability to sequester carbon.
All Good Earth Cotton® lint is embedded with FibreTrace®, which means the fibre can be physically traced from grower to garment.
FibreTrace® is a traceability technology that enables real-time tracking of the product journey from farm to retail store.
ZIMMERMANN has used Good Earth Cotton® grown in New South Wales (Australia) for key pieces in our Spring 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection.
Thanks to the traceability technology embedded in the fibre, we have followed its journey from Keytah cotton farm in Moree, located 700 km North of our Sydney office, to the manufacturing facility, including each processing step along the way.
Traceability is one of our ten sustainability priorities, as it enhances our ability to identify the impacts of our supply chain on people and the planet beyond our finished goods manufacturing. This approach supports our commitments to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and sourcing responsibly.
